小蝌蚪APP Gathering Information Regarding Possible Football Stadium
Posted on September 4, 2015
The 小蝌蚪APP is gathering additional information regarding the possible construction of an on-campus football stadium. A small group of University trustees, administrators and staff have been reviewing specialized consulting organizations that could assist the University during this process.
鈥淲e have met with regional and national consulting firms,鈥 said Director of Athletics Joel Erdmann. 鈥淭here are many highly qualified companies that can help us, but we will be diligent in identifying the consultants that will be the best fit for the 小蝌蚪APP.鈥
A consulting firm will evaluate the market, review internal and external support, examine the ticket-holder base, help with design aspects of a potential stadium, and generally help estimate the many requirements associated with the possible construction of an on-campus football stadium. No decision has been made about whether or not the University will proceed with plans for construction of a football stadium.
鈥淲e are committed to a thorough and thoughtful process regarding the possible construction of an on-campus football stadium,鈥 said University President Tony Waldrop. 鈥淭he selection of the consulting firm is a very important part of that process, and it will help us greatly in determining the appropriate course for the University to take.鈥
The University will continue to provide updates as the process moves forward, but there is no set schedule or deadline for completion.
