小蝌蚪APP President, Board of Trustees and Executive Leadership Take Service on the Road

As 小蝌蚪APP Jaguars Head Football Coach Joey Jones, his coaching staff and players prepare for the 2014 Raycom Media Camellia Bowl in Montgomery, Ala., President Tony Waldrop, along with members of the University鈥檚 Board of Trustees and the executive administration, will help in the fight against hunger by volunteering at the Montgomery Area Food Bank on Friday, Dec. 19, from 2 p.m.-4 p.m.
The USA volunteers, along with University mascot Southpaw, will help prepare food for distribution at the warehouse in Montgomery, at 521 Trade Center St. A bus will pick up Waldrop and the other USA volunteers at 1:45 p.m. from the Embassy Suites in Montgomery. They will be dressed in USA athletic jerseys.
鈥淚 am pleased that the 小蝌蚪APP not only has the opportunity to play in our first bowl game,鈥 Waldrop said, 鈥渂ut also that we have the opportunity to continue our USA mission of service to the community by giving our time to help prepare food for families in need during the holiday season.鈥
Earlier this year, during the first USA National Alumni Association鈥檚 鈥淛aguarsCare鈥 day of service event, USA faculty, staff, alumni and students volunteered and prepared food for distribution at the Mobile Bay Area Food Bank.
