AT&T Boosts Network Speeds for South

A partnership between the 小蝌蚪APP and AT&T will give a big boost in wireless connectivity to customers of the mobile digital wireless company.
AT&T is adding new small cell towers around campus to enhance the area鈥檚 coverage and help give customers faster, more reliable wireless service for the best possible experience over the AT&T network.
鈥淎ccess to high-speed internet connectivity is essential in how University of South Alabama students, faculty and researchers collaborate, learn and connect in today鈥檚 world,鈥 said 小蝌蚪APP President Jo Bonner. 鈥淎T&T鈥檚 investment in new wireless infrastructure on campus provides the connectivity needed for our students and faculty to discover new possibilities and develop innovative solutions that will have a positive impact on our society.鈥
A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held at one of the small cell towers near the Student Center on Monday, November 14, 2022. By the start of the spring 2023 semester ten small cell towers will be in place allowing for complete coverage on campus.
